Those people in the know have already started to view Chapelle d'Ausone as more
than just 'Baby Ausone'. It is a great wine in its own right - vying for the
tagline of Bordeaux's finest second wine. However, it is so much more than a
second wine - with huge concentration (even in 2007) and incredible depth of
flavour, this is not only testament to the terroir, but further re-enforces the
assertion that winemaker Alain Vauthier is making some of the finest wines in
Bordeaux.
