Mid but not especially deep crimson. Low-key nose – on the nose not a great
difference between Pensées and Lafleur although Lafleur opened up in the glass,
which promises well for what it might do in bottle. Very firm and more serious
than Pensées on the palate. 43% Cabernet Franc! and very marked by it. Very
fresh and brisk. Very crunchy – exploded in the mouth. Very clean and
energetic. Tannins a little dry on the finish
