Jean-Paul Dubost is a fourth generation vigneron, his expertise with the Gamay
grape centred around the Crus of Brouilly and Régnie. Brouilly, as a
Cru, is most often associated with the rounder, more floral end of the village
scale and Jean Paul has certainly produced a beautifully rounded and floral
wine in 2007, its notes of crushed blackberries and spice perfectly balanced; a
fine match for lighter meats, pasta or grilled vegetables.
