Briney maritime nose and fleshy fruit from old vines and time on lees. A classy
Muscadet

Classically shaped with crisp stony citrus fruit aromatics while the
light/medium bodied palate clearly displays a cool rocky character, as you'd
expect from a top Sevre et Maine producer, with plenty of crunchy, zippy
mineral fruit flavours. Drinking now till end 2009, along with moules.

Not quite the worst label I’ve seen all year, but close. So wrap this
delightful, lively, leafy muscadet, boasting lots of precocious, faintly pear
drop-scented melon de bourgogne fruit, in a napkin to allow you to concentrate
on the wine within. Fuller flavoured and aged on its yeasty lees, it’s a
seafood essential.
