2007 Berrys' Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Caves d'Ogier
The 2007 Rhône vintage is a winner, with the southern Rhône’s châteauneufs a real triumph as this glorious edition from the celebrated Caves d’Ogier proves: all wonderful ripe, inky, mulberry and prune-stashed fruit with terrific concentration and flavour. Great now but will keep at least until 2014.
(Jane MacQuitty - The Times - 25-Apr-2009)

Crafted especially for us by the prestigious Caves d'Ogier in the heart of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this marvellous wine is a traditional Grenache-dominated blend from the 2007 vintage, already lauded as one of the great Châteauneuf-du-Pape vintages of recent times. Boasting a wealth of black fruits, pepper, herbs and spices, this exudes velvety, Mediterranean warmth. A real vin de plaisir, this wine will match flavoursome meats, game and hard cheeses. (Simon Field MW - Rhône Buyer)

From the much-fêted 2007 vintage, this Grenache-dominated Châteauneuf-du-Pape is rich with characteristic notes of white pepper, clove and succulent dark fruit. Perfect for the bleak midwinter, with food or without.
