Toni Bodenstein always makes wines with focus, freshness and elegance. From
steep Wachau vineyards, its terrain if anything more dramatic than that of the
Mosel, the Grüner Veltliner vines perch on narrow terraces. Winemaking is
dominated by stainless steel; the grapes have more than enough to say for
themselves however. White pepper, capsicum, then hints of guava and white
tobacco. A splendid example of a little-known but, where it is known, highly
fashionable variety.

Nice pungency; not a strong nose, but with richness. Some good persistence and
delicate complexity on the palate. Bags of flavour. From 2009.
