Rioja’s best wine-maker, Juan Carlos Lopez de Lacalle, has spread his wings and developed extremely successful Bodegas in Navarra to the East and sunny Alicante on the Med. In Navarra the focus is on the Garnacha grape and the result, the Artazuri Garnacha, one of the best value red wines in our entire portfolio. Creamy damsons, peppery grip and an incredibly satisfying length all single out this wine; 2007 is well up to the standard of its forebears and there have been no compromises made despite the modest price tag.
