One sniff of this wild herb cum red-berried gem and you're instantly
transported to the lofty heights of the Chianti zone of Rufina, east of
Florence; the fine vintage is reflected in light/medium bodied palate which
swells with sweet raspberry fruit, a suggestion of barnyard from the lengthy
large slavonian oak barrel ageing, and elegant finish. Drinking now till 2012,
best accompanied by pheasant casserole.
