Joël Foucou is one of the new breed of vignerons who have broken free from
the local co-operative and he has established a high-quality 15 hectare
vineyard, Plan de l'Om, just to the north-west of Montpellier. Joël is
building a reputation for wines with a real sense of place, making use of the
distinctive palette of indigenous varieties. Cinsault, Carignan and Grenache
make up 85% of the blend of the Oeillade.
