2005 Ch. Poitevin, Medoc

"There was a time when I stuck to my guns and said that if you wanted a traditional, easily quaffable and affordable wine your only option would be Berrys' Extra Ordinary Claret. Having had the pleasure of tasting what the 2005 petit chateau's had to offer I'm now changing my mind. This wine is PHENOMENAL! Lots of ripe fruit and very approachable. Medium bodied yet a little bit chunky with soft tannins, spicy overtones, a good bit of oak and glorious black fruits. This truly gives you a bang for your buck."
