The hot vintage does not appear to have ruffled the fruit from this
single-vineyard for it remains intensely closed and compact. If anything the
vintage has bestowed an extra layer of joy, of sweet mulberry fruit to the
brooding wine. Focused, fresh, succulent, very suave and decadent. Not for the
faint hearted, it would be best to drink from 2010 till 2020, especially with
roast beef.
