2006 Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir, Elke, Anderson Valley, CA
(code: 71120B)
The 2006 Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir, Elke is made from specially selected
low-yielding vines from the Elke Vineyard located in the Anderson Valley of
Northern California. The Anderson Valley has a cool, coastal climate ideal for
growing Pinot Noir. The resulting cuvee is a more concentrated and structured
style, meaning that it will age well, better than some of the other wines
in the ABC range. The nose is redolent of violets, while the palate is rich in
plummy falvours, with surprising level of complexity and depth.
