Lucas only makes a few hundred cases of this Andlau 'lieu-dit', a site blessed with clay and sandstone over limestone, giving the wine a rich nectarine-like presence, density yet where the 8 grams of residuel sugar are superbly balanced by a salivating, salty even, crushed rock minerality and stunning zip. A great wine that deserves the freshest fillet of whiting!
