"The nose is fat, packed with sherried aromas: walnut/pecan, date, treacle toffee, leather with oily/honeyed notes behind. The palate is thick, sweet and very juicy. Ripe and full with dry nuttiness around it. This is a northern monster in which Scapa's lusciousness is left as texture with the sherry having a greater impact" Dave Broom
