The name Longmorn is said to derive from an old Scottish word meaning “place of the holy man”. Produced near Elgin, the Malt Whisky is highly respected for its smooth, complex full character and heady bouquet.
Nutty aromas emerge with apple and pear notes also showing. There is a little lemon sherbet. The oily palate offers serious depth as citrus notes evolve against some peaty and grassy elements. There is a lingering sweetness tempered by traces of bitter orange.
