This is Ben Leroux's first vintage under his own label. The winemaker from
Domaine Comte Armand is a supremely talented young man and very much one to
watch. His wines offer great value at the moment and we’ve all been
bowled over by their charm and evident quality. This 2007 is the epitome of
what Ben Leroux's winemaking is all about: Exciting! This is very serious
indeed with precision, finesse and surprising weight for a Bourgogne Blanc. The
acid cuts through the citrus fruit which gives this a streamlined, mineral
edge.
