Serious Burgundian producers will always pay the same amount of attention to their Bourgogne and Village wines as their 1ers and Grands Crus. Domaine Leflaive are a great example. A pure, racy and focused Puligny packed with acacia flower, peach and citrus fruit. Mineral and energetic, it shows depth, character and balance.

This is also extremely fresh with an expressive nose of acacia blossom, white peach and discreetly spiced pear that introduces the vibrant, stony and sappy flavors that aren't overly concentrated but possess fine precision on the persistent finish. This is also quite good if not truly stunning for its level.
