Morgeot is a key Premier Cru in Chassagne, comprising over 50 hectares all
told. Dense, rich and firm, this wine opens out to reveal a fleshy palate with
many layers of attractive ripe fruit.

On the nose, one finds a touch of tropical fruit complemented by honeysuckle,
Clementine and a hint of acacia, then pear drop. The palate is elegant and with
good weight, rounded with a spicy, chalky finish. Excellent. Drink
now-2016.
