A blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, this Bourgogne Passetoutgrains is brilliant
purple in colour and beautifully aromatic. Very fresh, with lively acidity and
a pure fruit core, this will be at its best next year. David Clark is not an
obviously Burgundian name. In fact this young Scotsman (born in Indianapolis)
decided to diversify from his previous carer as a race-side engineer for the
Williams Formula 1 team and become a vigneron instead, making his first wine in
2004. Since then he has attracted a great deal of attention as much for the
quality of his wines as the unusual nature of his story.
