2008 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Domaine Raymond Usseglio et Fils

The white wine in 2008 is a blend of 40% Grenache Blanc and 20% each of Roussanne, Clairette and Bourboulenc. The blend achieves a fine balance between the traditional and the new, and its honey and beeswax texture is perfectly complemented by the lemon grass acidity on the finish. Refreshing yet rich; richly refreshing (and rewarding).
