The charming Lidewij Kuijper is quickly gaining a reputation for this excellent Coteaux de Languedoc wine, its vines pleasingly located in the gentle hills of Murveil les Béziers. The blend is Syrah (20%), Grenache (50%) and Carignan (30%), its fruit hand-picked and completely destemmed. The wine is rich yet pure and fruity with a velvety texture, and a beautiful ripeness. Black fruits are married to liquorice, with an elegant weave of tannins and a clean but persistent finish. Perfect with venison or roasts.
