2006 Artadi El Seque DO Alicante

40 hectares at 700 metres in Alicante. Juan Carlos' latest triumph and one of our most successful wines last year. Tasting the 2006 it is easy to understand why; 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are added to the Monastrell, affording depth and complexity. At its core the wine has damsons, coffee beans and hints of smoke. Fantastically structured and extremely good value.
