Giaconda’s 2008 Nantua Les Deux Chardonnay contains 7% Roussanne. It was
barrel-fermented and raised in 30% new French oak for 9 months. It offers up an
alluring bouquet of pain grille, mineral, biscotti, pear, and tropical aromas.
Medium-bodied, elegant, yet remarkably concentrated, this full-flavored
offering will evolve for several more years and provide pleasure to
2018.
