Look no further for a classic cool-climate Australian Chardonnay; your quest is
at its end! The Nolan family bring a fresh perspective to Australian
winemaking, thanks in part to the dynamism (and realism) of the Nolan sisters,
Susie and Amelia but also due to their patch of heaven: a lofty,
well-ventilated, limestone rich ridge in Wrattonbully, S.Australia. Fresh
indeed: the nose brims with bitter lemon zing, transparency, warm baked bread
notes; the delicate (yes, delicate) palate is perfectly balanced, boasting a
lacy texture and cleansing acidity. Drinking well now, it's a true alternative
to the wines of the Maconnais, along with a plate of hake!
