1996 Berrys' Own Selection Ben Nevis

Ben Nevis Distillery nestles in the shadow of Britain’s highest mountain after which it is named. The distillery, near Fort William in the western Highlands, is one of Scotland’s oldest and one of the last remaining in the region. The nose of this fine 13-year-old Malt is very expressive, giving citrus, honey, coffee and nuts with some toasted oak. To taste there is a progressive build up of creamy malt, more nuttiness and sustained rich fruitiness. The finish offers a little dark toffee.
