Ludwig and Maria Angeles are especially pleased with their 2008, an eponymous
mirror which, somehow, reflects more than the so-so quality of the vintage.
This is testimony to the age of the vines and their increasing skill of the
wine-makers. Capiscum, white pepper and hints of pear and peach can all be
detected, the spicy leitmotif continuing onto the palate with firm balancing
acidity and a refreshing finish. One of the great GVs from the Kamptal region.
