2008 Moscato d'Asti DOCG,'Vigna Senza Nome', Braida, Piedmont
|
|
Hold tight! Braida takes our/your appreciation of Moscato d'Asti to another,
higher level with this scintillating dessert wine. It's cooler and crunchier
than those that have gone before; meticulously made from comparatively low
yields of approx.55 hl/ha, it's a wine that's been perfected over 19 years;
microfiltered successively to leave a fine mousse; it's blessed with grapy-lime
flower aromas and flavours and a sherbet sorbet like freshness that works
perfectly at the end of a (heavy) meal, ideally alongside pannacotta with
raspberry coulis...as it says on the label, it's a wine that hits the spot
every time.
