2008 Baronnie de Coussergues, Vin de Pays des Côtes de Thongue, Rouge

Domaine de Coussergues, an ancient royal estate, has been owned by the Sarret de Coussergues family for thirteen generations since 1495. The domaine lies about 10 kilometres east of Béziers in the Languedoc. Baronnie de Coussergues is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Syrah. It's a delicious, with vibrant forest fruit and liquorice notes and silky-soft tannins. A wonderfully balanced wine for everyday drinking.
