2007 Crozes-Hermitage, Domaine du Colombier

Black cherry, tar and mint dominate the nose whilst the ripe fruit on the palate merges sublimely with the firm (but already integrated) tannins and a great freshness on the finish. Stylistically this Crozes-Hermitage wine has been made for relatively early drinking as everything is beautifully balanced already: an ideal accompaniment for roasts or pasta-based dishes.
