Very pale straw colour ; pronounced grassy, gooseberry aroma, hints of lime and
herby mint. Classic Marlborough bouquet. On the palate the wine has
mouth-filling, ripe fruit, crisp acidity, but considerable depth of flavour,
too, followed by a long, balanced finish. Even more complexity than usual, and
a wine definitely capable of further development with a couple of years of
bottle age.
