Gevrey-Chambertin is best drunk with a little bottle age, so we were delighted
to uncover a cache of the 2000 vintage, a delicious year for generous, rounded
wines, Brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol are responsible for this fine Red
Burgundy, with the first gentle leafy notes of graceful maturity complementing
abundant classic red berry flavours. This excellent wine would
partner rich poultry or duck admirably.
