The 1994 Contino Reserva is 85% Tempranillo and the balance Garnacha, Graciano
and Mazuelo aged for 24 months in French and American oak. Seductive aromas of
leather, tobacco and assorted forest fruits make up the nose of this
traditionally styled Rioja. Firm on the palate, it has plenty of gamey falvours
and dried fruit, spice notes, and a touch of truffles. Ready to savour now and
until 2012.
