Pichon-Lalande, traditionally among the softest, most seductive, and hedonistic
wines from St.-Julien, St.-Estephe, and Pauillac, displays more structure, as
well as a more classic Pauillac aromatic and flavour profile for its 1993
vintage. The palate reveals copious notes of tobacco, charcoal, incense, creme
de cassis, blue and black fruits and a long finish. At its peak now, although
it can keep well for the next 5-7 years.
