2006 Il Montino, Colli Tortonesi, La Colombera, Piedmont

Made from the indigenous Timorasso grape variety, this is a genuine taste sensation that you are unlikely to have experienced before.  This has a lovely lick of richness to it – pure and fresh with ripe white fruit galore.  What is really interesting and appealing is the way that this wine stays knit together – really great focus for a wine at this price point.
