The purple/black 2007 Quinta do Roriz Vintage Port displays a pleasing perfume of violets, incense, spice box, and assorted black fruits. On the palate it has excellent volume with plenty of round, layered, succulent fruit and an overall friendly personality. Impeccably balanced, this mid-weight Port will evolve for 6-8 years and drink well through 2027. It offers solid value.

Hint of evolution at the rim. Hint of overripeness on the nose. Very very sweet but just a bit too lush. Not really the depth of a vintage port. A little awkward and stringy on the finish
