Granit 60 is an appropriate name, describing, as it does, both the soil and the
gradient of the Parisian vineyard. Vincent’s wines are marked by both
their perfume and their purity. The 2007 Cornas,Granit 60 is a fine ambassador
for this style, combining aromatics of violets, liquorice and garrigue and a
weighty palate, with herbs and dark chocolate.

The dense purple-hued 2007 Cornas Granite 30 exhibits a perfume of flowers,
cassis, charcoal, and new saddle leather, decent acidity, and a full-bodied,
lush mouthfeel. It should be approachable in its first 2-3 years of life, and
evolve for 12-15.
