Where the Rhône meets White Burgundy; rich in texture, long on the finish, with layers of lanolin, quince, almond and honey, all beautifully harmonised; this is a brilliant example of a multi-faceted, complex white wine.

The 95% Marsanne dominates here with the balance of Roussanne providing gentle honeyed aromatics. The 2008 is fine, its pear-skin and beeswax texture supported by hints of citrus and quince; this is a top white Rhône.
