Reassuringly pale brick red, taut yet delicate, with a deft sense of dark,
spicy, licorice-coated berried fruit, of verve, of purpose. Barbaresco Rio
Sordo is moreishly gentle to taste, with bright, succulent, refreshingly pure,
with cleansing acidity, a certain profondita, of noble charm and poise.
Excellent, to drink now till 2016, and beyond senze dubbio, along with
game.

Unbelievable perfume. Leaps out of the glass. Ripe and succulent fruit. Burly
tannins wrapped tightly around the fruit, as if they never want to let go. But
the fruit is so pure.
