2007 Corton-Charlemagne, Grand Cru, Domaine Bonneau du Martray

A solid, powerful wine in 2007, this may not yet show the detail or the fragrance that will come with time but already evidences remarkable body and concentration of fruit. The domaine’s principal wine (alongside a small production of red Corton), it is clear that this has been lovingly crafted and, when ready, will no doubt take up its crown as one of the most magnificent white wines of the vintage.
