2008 Volnay, Domaine du Comte Armand

Low yields in 2008 enabled the grapes to ripen fully, so Ben Leroux was able to include a few stems in the vinification process. This is fresh and delicious with a really pretty Volnay nose and a lovely crunch to the fruit.

Yields 18 hl/ha. Rich and almost treacly. Much much more generous than most 2008s. Such a lot of pleasure.
