With a wealth of fruit in the rich cherry style of the vintage, this Richebourg
Grand Cru is very detailed with fruit, oak and mineral acidity all in balance.
An exceptionally persistent finish denotes its quality. This will certainly
repay keeping.

...the expected spiciness is demonstrated by the textured, powerful,
concentrated and hugely long flavors and finish. Richeburg is a big wine in the
context of the '08 vintage and while it's very much on the reserved side today,
this well-muscled effort should amply reward mid to long-term cellaring.
