The very convivial Rossignol brothers have over-achieved with their 2008s, their move to biodynamism surely having some effect. Their Clos Prieur is the epitome of fine Gevrey: nothing at all clumsy, very pure, elegant and in harmony. This offers excellent value for a genuine wine which will develop very well mid-term.
(Tom Cave Cellar, Plan Manager)
Restrained but with lots of energy behind, Rossignol-Trapet's Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur is potentially delicious and already a bundle of energy.
