Les Porêts-St Georges is a marvellously full-bodied Nuits-St Georges wine from the heart of the appellation. The bouquet is closed for the moment but the fruit on the palate shows what a class act this is. Give it time.

Nuits-St Georges, Les Porêts-St Georges couldn't be more different; the animale side of Nuits is well represented, adding complexity to the ripe red berry fruit nose that is followed by firmly structured and wonderfully complex medium weight plus flavors that are very Nuits in character on the palate staining finish. This wine from Faiveley is a strikingly good effort that will almost certainly require at least a decade to arrive at its peak.
