An aromatically-seductive Nuits-St Georges, Benjamin Leroux's Les Allots shows
a wonderfully pure and spicy nose that brimms with blue berry fruit and
overlaid with earth and game notes that continue onto the fleshy, plush and
inviting palate, all wrapped in an impeccably balanced and persistent
finish. This is a rubust wine, with polished tannins, yet none of the
occasional dry tannins of Nuits.
