This Gigondas is impressively concentrated with ripe, dark fruit and a fine tannic backdrop. The classic underlying licorice, fennel and earth notes lend complexity which will more than satisfy the richness of hearty local fare.

Very aromatic for Gigondas, with none of the chewiness that can make the appellation a little forbidding. Bramble and raspberry fruit with garrigue spice.
