Bowmore is the capital of Islay and its namesake distillery nestles at the bottom of the high street on the shores of Loch Indaal. The distillery is one of the few to retain its own malting house which provides a good proportion of the peated barley used to make the Whisky.

This sherry butt matured Whisky offers orange citrus aromas and trademark damp ferns with smoky depths. The palate is round and expressive giving full dried fruit flavours, spice and smoke. A lingering spicy, smoky finish caps the experience.
