The 2008 has the Gonon imprimateur, namely a dense, earthy profile with hints
of pepper spice and autumn bonfires. The wine has impressive concentration for
a cooler vintage, none of it overworked, all thanks to the venerable Syrah
grapes, some of which are nearly 100 years old. Drink 2012-2016.
