2008 Crozes-Hermitage, Domaine du Colombier

Florent recalls that the 2008 was bottled the day before Remembrance Day. Already, over a mere four months, it has put on weight and taken on an agreeable, almost savoury nose. Spice and black pepper on the back add gravitas and the tannins are fine and silky. Drink 2011-2014.
