Glenburgie distillery lies a short distance from the A95 Aberdeen to Inverness
road some five miles east of Forres. The Whisky is highly regarded by blenders,
so much so that it is a rare sight as a bottled Single Malt.
The nose exudes a soft sweetness with some exotic fruit (mango and passionfruit). Some butterscotch lingers in the background. The chewy palate gives more exotic fruit, orange citrus and dark toffee richness. At the death there is a lingering sweet fruitiness.
