2008 Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Champeaux, 1er Cru, Olivier Bernstein

Bernstein's Premier Cru Gevrey-Chambertin Les Champeaux shows a beautiful bright purple colour with terrific elegance, as well as weight of fruit on the nose. The flavours build to the back of the palate, with a perfect balance between the fruit and the acidity. Very long fine finish.

A notably more complex nose of earthy red berry fruit aromas that is distinctly floral in character introduces pure, seductive and supple middle weight flavors that also evidence a touch of minerality on the balanced and harmonious finish where the supporting tannins are clearly riper. Sweet spot Outstanding!
